Our shop has just completed the production of a new custom gap frame straightening press, model PCR.
This press will be used for straightening sheet metal, metals in general and thanks to its large front opening it will allow bulky materials to be placed and loaded onto the table even from the side, making it suitable for various processes within our customer’s factory.
The machine develops a power of 40 tons and has a hydraulic cylinder approach speed of 26 mm/sec and a working speed of 9 mm/sec.
The free-rod piston is equipped with a hole that allows the installation of molds or additional equipment and its stroke is adjustable by means of special microswitches. In addition, the hydraulic cylinder automatically rises at the end of each pressing cycle.
The machine is equipped with a pressure switch that has the function of monitoring the pressure of the hydraulic fluid inside the system and allows the regulation of the maximum working pressure, based on the preset calibration, thus optimising the operation of the hydraulic press based on the processes that need to be carried out.
The hydraulic power unit is located in the back of the press frame and has a power of 4 kW. The hydraulic system is cooled by installing an air/oil heat exchanger.
This custom gap frame straightening press is operated using double buttons as required by European safety standards.
