The press will be used to carry out sheet metal straightening operations in shipyards and has an 800mm recess, which allows the positioning of metal plates of larger dimensions than what is foreseen in the standard version of this hydraulic gooseneck press, model PCR 150 .
The increase in the recess of the hydraulic press made it necessary to strengthen and oversize all the rest of the metal structure of the machine, in order to make it resistant to stress.
The work surface is totally milled and is equipped with T-slots for the positioning of additional equipment to carry out pressing operations. The dimensions of the metal piece support platform measure 1000 x 900mm.
The hydraulic power unit has two speeds and the cylinder has a descent of 9 mm/sec and an operating speed of 4 mm/sec.
The press is controlled using a special pedal and this allows the operator to have both hands free during the pressing phases and to be able to freely move the sheet metal to be flattened.
This C-Type hydraulic straightening press has a cylinder stroke which is manually adjusted using end-of-stroke sensors.
The pressure adjustment also occurs manually via a special knob and the pressure value is displayed on the side of the electro-hydraulic straightening press.
