The first of two batches of four double column hydraulic molding presses is ready and will soon be loaded and shipped to the end customer in Northern Italy.
These presses will be used in a plant producing watchmaking components. All machines are all the same and each of them develops a power of 70 tons.
They have been customized by adding an opening rear net, which is equipped with safety sensors, which immediately interrupt the operation of the electro-hydraulic press in case of opening during the operating cycle.
Another customization is the creation of the upper mobile table of 700 x 500mm, which is larger than the standard model which measures 700 x 350mm.
These double column hydraulic molding presses are equipped with a bottom side lock valve. This special valve has the task of maintaining a constant pressure level inside the cylinder for the entire pressing time that has been set.
All working parameters can be conveniently set using the Siemens KTP 700 Basic digital screen.
The cylinder approach speed is 24 mm/sec, while the working speed is 5 mm/sec.
The hydraulic press is operated using double buttons.
