Our workshop has completed the production of an electro-hydraulic straightening press with movable frame, which has been completely customized based on the customer’s requests.
The press will be used in a machine shop for the production of vacuum chambers, pressure vessels, reactors, heat exchangers and tanks.
The machine develops a power of 400 tons and has a distance between the cylinder rod and the workbench of 1200mm. This large opening allows the operator to straighten large-sized materials.
The 2500 x 4000mm work surface is completely milled to ensure excellent parallelism and is supplied with 6 T-slots with a centre distance of 350mm.
Additionally, the customer requested a 1100 x 300mm recess in the work table to allow the operator to be closer to the work piece.
The hydraulic power unit is mounted high above the mobile upright, thus optimising space inside the workshop.
All movements of the cylinder and portal of this electro-hydraulic straightening press with movable frame are managed by a radio control.
In addition to this, the press is equipped with an additional joystick that allows the descent speed to be reduced to below 10 mm/sec and therefore allows the machine to be used with just one hand.
