A new special hydraulic molding press with prismatic guides has been built and is ready to reach its final destination.
In this case it is a 300 ton press machine, model PST 300.
The machine is equipped with prismatic roller guides positioned on the 4 sides of the upper plane to guarantee maximum flatness during the descent phase even for off-axis work.
The hydraulic press is equipped with fixed metal grids at the rear and front metal grids that slide following the movements of the main cylinder. These frontal protections are necessary because the cylinder automatically returns at a speed of 55 mm/sec and are a cheaper alternative to light curtains.
The approach speed is 29 mm/sec, while the working speed is 3 mm/sec.
This hydraulic molding press with prismatic guides is equipped with Rexroth valves and Siemens touchscreen digital control.
